If you're a regular reader of Just The Fax... you're aware that we’ve been asking our subscribers for written permission to continue faxing to them. This is to help us comply with the Federal Communications Commission ruling requiring written permission to receive faxes containing advertising.
On June 28, 2005, Congress amended the FCC's Do Not Call legislation (which included business faxes) to allow for “existing business relationships,” such as your subscription to Just The Fax...! Unsolicited faxes and junk faxes will continue to be illegal under this bill. To stay ahead of potential future legislation, we’ll continue to ask for written permission from our readers to fax to them.
